Ex Libris, discarded stamp to front end paper, poor removal of library bookplate to half title resulting in tear to page. Lovely inscription dated September 1977 reads "Mac - one more expedition that left me behind .....L " Story of the R.C.M.P. vessel St. Roch and her epic voyages through the Northwest Passage from the east coast of Canada to the west coast. A volume in the 'Great Stories of Canada' series Number 8. (William Laird McKinlay, one of the scientific staff of the Canadian Arctic Expedition of 1913-18 who died at Glasgow in 1983)
