    Description 2007 Bluntisham Books Fine Reprint of the 1919 first edition, xxxiii, 183 pages, illustrated, b/w photos, maps, folding map at rear. Original covers, as new, Appears unread. Davis was captain of "Aurora," on Mawson's first Antarctic expedition, the Australasian Antarctic Expedition 1911-14 and was chief officer on the "Nimrod" with Shackleton's British Antarctic Expedition 1907-09. The popular official account of the Australasian expedition was by Mawson, "The Home of the Blizzard". In Mawson's preface to this volume, he says Davis' book details the voyages of the ship, a gap not covered in his account.
