Hard grey-green paper boards, with cloth spine and printed paper spine-label. Covers very worn, spine label worn away, text block still solid, all 9 plates and map present, some spotting throughout. Previous owners signature on front end paper, contents clean.FULL TITLE: The geology of Scripture, illustrating the operation of the deluge, and the effects of which it was productive: with a consideration of Scripture history, in reference to Stonehenge and Abury, in Wiltshire; and to the Caves of Elephanta and Salsette, and the wonders of Elora , in Hindoostan; a statement of new and important views of geology, resulting from information contained in Scripture, and an interesting tour from Christchurch, along the banks of the river Avon, and across the Wansdyke, to Abury. Please note, as was often the practice, the illustrations have been bound in leaving 'stubs' of paper which can be mistaken for missing or damaged leaves, this is NOT the case, the book is complete.
