Noted artist, ornithologist, and companion of Scott who perished with him on the return from the South Pole. Seaver was greatly influenced by Wilson and said "All that I have ever tried to picture of a modern saintliness is realised in the figure of Edward Wilson", so in this book he looks at the religious beliefs of the great Antarctic explorer. It discusses his faith in God as well as his understanding of Darwin's Evolutionary ideas.
