    Description Paper wrappers: No date but circa 1890s. Pale blue/grey illustrated covers, each part illustrated with black and white, colour plates ands sketches. Interesting periodical advertisements. Very scarce in the original 20 parts, published fortnightly in parts. Being the record of a voyage of exploration of the ship Fram, 1893-96, and of a fifteen months sleigh journey by Dr. Nansen and Lieut. Johansen with an Appendix by Otto Sverdrup, Captain of the Fram. Issued in 20 parts. Complete with the coloured plate presented with Part 1. Covers and page edges tatty, grubby, nibbled with odd piece missing. Overall in good condition considering the age and fact it was sold as a "periodical" in various parts.
