    Description Paper wrappers as issued: No date but circa 1890s. Each part is illustrated with b/w photos and sketches. Interesting periodical advertisements. Complete with the coloured plate presented with Part 1. The map that accompanied Issue 7 is not the original but a professional copy. Covers and page edges tatty, grubby, nibbled with odd pieces missing. Overall in good condition considering the age and fact it was sold as a "periodical" in various parts. Very scarce in the original 20 parts, published fortnightly. Being the record of a voyage of exploration of the ship Fram, 1893-96, and of a fifteen months sleigh journey by Dr. Nansen and Lieut. Johansen.
