Shelfware, appears unread. Contents clean. Interesting account of the ill-fated journey of the whale ship "Diana" during the mid-nineteenth century. The author's log of a fourteen-month whaling voyage to the North Sea and the Davis Strait, which resulted in the Diana - the first whaling steamer in Hull - becoming stranded in ice for several months.
