    Description 3rd Impression, Duckworth Edition; (2), xxvi, 306 pages, numerous b/w photos (the majority from Ponting's photographs). I route map to the South Pole. With an introduction by Lady Scott. Blue cloth with red ruling and titling and Terra Nova crest to spine and upper board, in photocopied dust jacket for protections. Shelfware, covers grubby with some staining. Minor foxing, mainly to page edges, end papers browned, gift inscription in pencil on front end paper otherwise contents clean. The author took part in and recounts the British Antactic Expedition of 1910-1913, led by Captain Robert Scott. Widely regarded as the "best outdoor cameraman in the world", Ponting was invited by Scott to join his expedition.
