This extremely scarce 1st edition was strictly limited to 270 numbered copies. SIGNED BY AUTHOR, "To Irving & Ida - With all my best Barney". Original half black cloth on maroon boards with frontispiece by Hilton Mirkinson and decorations by Ben Lapper in a black papered slipcase with silver label and black lettering. A very rare collection of poetry, inspired by Byrd's first Antarctic expedition.
