Vol I, viii,283 pages. Vol II, iv, 270 pages. Vol III, vii,312 pages. Vol IV, vii,295 pages. Vol V, vii, 300 pages (printed in 1831, different binding to previous 4 volumes) Vol VI, xxxv, 211 pages (printed 1829); illustrated, engraved plates, folding map, (page edges uncut, Volumes I-IV) Volumes V original cloth with title labels on spines. Vols 1-4,1828; Vol 5 - 1831; Vol 6, 1829, leather covers with gilt decoration and titling to spine. The first 5 volumes are accounts of Parry's voyages to discover the North West Passage and were initially published separately in four quarto volumes between 1821 and 1826. This set of 5 volumes was printed as a complete edition in 1828 whilst Vol VI "Narrative of an Attempt to reach the North Pole in boats fitted for the purpose, and attached to His Majesty's Ship Hecla, in the Year 1827" was added in 1829 and intended to go with the other volumes. Original covers on all volumes, grubby, bumped, very worn especially along edges & spines, some splitting to text blocks, odd tissue guard loose or missing, spotting and age toning as expected.
