Previous owners very neat inscription on front end paper otherwise contents clean. Appears unread. Written by Cliff Pearce, who served in Antarctica with the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey for three years from 1959. A mountain was named 'Pearce Dome' in his honour. This work describes the author's adventure overwintering on Alexander Island and his two years spent in Antarctica.
