The large folding map of the Polar Sea Chart is laid in and there is a small part missing.The other folding map and engraved plates, some of which are coloured, are in good order and depict various scenes including hunting scenes,sledging,eminent explorers etc.This is a lovely example of a rare and also very heavy book.
