Search for a book by author or title

one or two words from the title should be enough
+ ensures a word is present, - excludes it
Putting your search in " " means the exact phrase is searched

I.e. South Polar brings all titles that have South and/or Polar in them whilst "South Polar" will only bring those titles up that have South Polar in that order in them

Publishing Information London: MacGibbob & Kee, 1971. 0261100122
Description 1st Edition: 285pp, illustrated, 8 pages of colour illustrations and photographs, maps on eps. Blue cloth covers with gilt titling to spine in illustrated dustjacket. "Single, ambitious, self-reliant young man required....Duncan Pryde an 18 year old orphan, ex merchant seaman and disgruntled factory-worker, decided to try his hand at fur trading and emigrated to Canada. In Nunaga, he tells of his discovery of a remote and primitive life to which, astonishingly, he found that he easily adapted....Pryde speaks with authority of the northern native life - the Eskimos' birth, death and marriage rights, their extraordinarily tolerant sexual customs, their age-old and amazingly effective hunting skills". A good read. Some damp damage, wrinkling to bottom of pages and plates are stuck together but may seperate with a little care.
