Grey cloth covers with black illustrations and titling to front cover and gilt titling to spine. True account of adventure and hunting furs in the Canadian wilderness. Information and detail on the Indian population, their beliefs and customs as well as the hunting and habits of fur bearing animals including beaver. Much of the travel undertaken by birch-bark canoe and dog-sled. Shelfware, spine ends and corners bumped. 1st section to page 1 loose but intact, Missing pages 3 to 30 of the advertisements at the back. Some minor spotting but overall contents clean. Still a nice copy. Good.
